KNOX -- Robert Clinton VanAuken, 53, died Sunday, February 18, 2001 at his home after a long illness. Mr. VanAuken was born in Albany, the son of Olive and the late Harry VanAuken. He was a graduate of Guilderland High School and lived in Altamont and Knox for most of his life. He was a foreman for Albany County Highway Department for over 30 years. He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a member of the Boyd-Hilton VFW Post #7062 in Altamont.
