LATHAM-- Arthur C. Shoemaker, 86, of Latham, died Thursday, November 26, 1998, at Samaritan Hospital, Troy, after a brief illenss. He was born and educated in LeRoy, PA, son of the late Ray and Lulu Harris Shoemaker. He resided in Little Falls, NY, for several years, moving to Latham in 1950. Mr. Shoemaker was president of Shoemaker Paper Company, Latham, a commercial packaging firm, which he started in 1953. He retired in 1977. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Latham, where he served on its building committee for many years.
